Job Descriptions

Underwrite and assess all classes of risks in our insurance and reinsurance portfolio

Approve premium rates, terms and conditions for all risks with adherence to company guideline and authority limits

Negotiate and arrange reinsurance support and treaty special acceptances

Ensure underwriting profit with a balance between portfolio growth and prudent underwriting

Provide quality service and underwriting support to target intermediaries 

Review performance reports monthly and take necessary actions to rectify any shortfalls

Prepare yearly gross and net written premium budgets

Prepare and analyze underwriting statistics and performance reports

Ensure compliance with legislations

Ensure good workflow and coordination within and inter department

Requirements

Good university degree

ACII is an advantage

At least 8-10  years’ underwriting experience in general insurance industry with substantial experience at the management level

Strong marketing, customer service, communication and interpersonal skills

Outstanding planning, organizing and analytical skills

Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Salary : $6,000/- to $7,500/-
